I would like to take a moment to (re)introduce myself and say THANK YOU to 2022 and WELCOME 2023.
I am a Life Coach, an Institute for Integrative Nutrition® Certified Health Coach, and a Certified Heal Your Life® Coach and Workshop Teacher. Through Life Coaching I help others connect the dots in finding their own Happy Healthy Strong place.

I have spent the better part of my career working in the holistic and medical world as an assistant. I come from a family with a strong medical background in caring for patients and it has always seemed second nature for me to help others care for themselves and create their healthy place. The art of self-care takes time and grit because after all it is “change”. What is my favorite part of life coaching? Those wonderful ah-ha moments when a person realizes they can make a change and are strong enough to do so.
My Sense of Health is continually growing and evolving from a “change” I made in my life. Now 5+ years later, I truly continue to enJOY being a LIFE COACH and I am EVERYDAY GRATEFUL to help people along their journey.
There is always a story to tell, and we all have one… mine is a winding and long story filled with many different moments; good, bad, ugly, and BEAUTIFUL. The simple version is “I am Happy Healthy and Strong”. I am married to an AMAZING man and our blended lives have given us a huge AMAZING family!
We have WONDERFUL children, WONDERFUL grandchildren, one Pepper dog, and one Simon cat. We live in Central Idaho just outside of Twin Falls allowing us the opportunity to enJOY nature every day.
I am always happily reminded when visiting with people from other parts of the world who travel all the distance to simply see Idaho of how BEAUTIFUL our state is and how GRATEFUL I am for what we literally have in our back yard!
I choose to view each day as a blessing; a chance to enJOY the life I have chosen.

WELCOME Winter Solstice 2021!
Took the opportunity this morning to watch the sunrise and set my intentions. Nature did not disappoint! A beautiful sunrise with fog rolling through the canyon AND as if to add just a touch of magic mother nature adds a large deer with gorgeous antlers to the already beautiful moment. Wow!
Add a little humor to the story - my dog bolts straight at the deer and chases it off to the pond. This is where we need to practice the "Hold/Leave It" command. Good luck sister as I am sure it will win the face off (yes, she showed back up shortly after panting heavily - she had her exercise for the day)!

If you haven't heard... take a moment this evening to bundle up and enJOY Jupiter and Saturn's great conjunction (the Bethlehem Star or the Christmas Star), it is a BEAUTIFUL sight. A sight that I have been intently watching all through December.
I woke my son up at 2:00am last night and we went outside to take a moment to be grateful for all we have and to welcome the Winter Solstice. He is a trooper! The days only get longer now. Yay!!

Set ALL the clocks back and not just some. Up at 5:30am not 6:30am. My 13 year old actually found humor in it when I woke him up for school. Then of course he went back to bed. I have been extra productive this beautiful morning. 🤣
PS... The sun comes up at 6:30ish now. Yay!

As I am prepping for the upcoming Love Yourself Heal Your Life® 2 Day Workshop I am reflecting on how grateful I am as this is just a sliver of my view from the office for the next few days.

❤️ AUTUMN has officially arrived
I unconditionally LOVE summer, but spring is my favorite season. Well, maybe fall... the colors! And while I could hibernate winter away I do love the falling snowflakes. However, this year I have really enJOYed driving my son to school each morning with the most aMaZiNg sunrises!
This is the last post with the theme of preparing for fall and slowing down since autumn has officially arrived. I wanted to share a few more ideas for slowing down. Feel free to take a moment to read back through these posts as I affirm one idea will resonate with you.
- Go for a walk.
- Give a hug.
- Take 15-minutes for self-care by soaking your feet in a basin of hot water. Add 1 cup Epsom salt and 1/2 cup baking soda as this will provide a gentle detox - make sure to hydrate and drink extra WATER.
- Look at old family pictures.
- Play an instrument, do a craft, or bake something yummy.
- Collect some of nature's goodies while going on that walk by collecting some pinecones to decorate for winter.
- Call a friend and enJOY catching up.
- Eat outside.
- Go to bed EARLY. It is aMaZiNg how going to bed just 20-30 minutes early 1-2 times a week can help boost your immune system (think recharge and regenerate).
- ONLY DO ONE THING AT A TIME.
- Put a quilt/blanket or sweater in the dryer and then wrap yourself in warmth.
- Pray or meditate and set an intention. The following meditation is about 12 minutes. Find a quiet spot to close your eyes, breathe, and enJOY.

Slowing down and practicing self-care does not make you lazy. It is quite the opposite as it takes some intention, practice, and some good old "grit" to make lifestyle changes to find your Happy Healthy and Strong place.

Ideas and more ideas.
- Turn off your phone.
- Sit still for 5 minutes.
- Read a chapter in a book.
- Declare a 15-minute quiet time for your home and re-group.
- Read or write a poem.
- Lay down for 10 minutes.
- Write something down you are thankful for today.
- Mark something off your list you have completed and enJOY that it is done.
- Mentally think through all you have accomplished.
- Write a kind note to someone or to YOURSELF.
- Write in a journal.
- Turn off your music.
- Take a moment to pet your dog or cat.
- Dream and think of a trip you would like to take or a skill you would like to learn.
- Whisper.
- and breathe...
The world can be a very noisy place. Family, friends, television, news, phones, social media, emails, work, school, notifications, bells, whistles, beep beep, ding ding, buzz buzz, on and on and on. DO NOT forget the noise going on in your own mind - that constant chattering on what you think of everything and everyone including yourself. Whew! It can be a bit overwhelming.
I encourage you to be quiet and listen to what your heart is saying. A moment of reflection for YOU. I bet if you really really listen you can hear your heart say I LOVE YOU.
