Idaho Drug Free Youth Canyon Ridge High School Chapter

Leadership elections. All in favor of keeping current president and vice president and electing a new secretary. Next meeting is the 2nd Friday in April. End of the year party is in May. May 20 a presenter from the Idaho M**h Project will speak. Only "active" members will be invited to attend. The assembly is for Freshmen and "active" IDFy members.

Encourage teens to bring clothes new/used for SafeHouse. Most of us have clothes we no longer wear that is in good condition and stilll in fashion.....bring it to room 308.....

We are conducting a clothing drive for Safe House. We need new or gently used clothing in good condition. There are clothes that YOU would wear. It is for teens, not grandmas. Collect your own clothes that you no longer wear and encourage others to do the same. IDFY will be at 1st and 2nd lunches on Tuesday and Thursday of next week.

There are 2 meetings this month Thursday Nov. 21 and Friday Nov. 22. Only paid members are allowed now. Thursday we will discuss Safehouse and Friday we will party!

We've given an extension for paying your $5 one time ever dues...you have till this Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meeting notes from Friday, Oct. 11. Make sure you pay the $5 dues by next Friday, Oct. 18. You are not considered a member until then. Check FB for when we will have our ice cream social for our Hallowen Party. We have lots of left over whipped cream!

Pete from SafeHouse spoke to us about service project ideas. Start gathering clothes you no longer wear but are currently in fashion for teens. More service project ideas to come. Stay tuned.

IDFY at CRHS tailgate....pie throw....Mrs. Castronova/Mr. Waters.....

The pie throw during the tailgate party at CRHS was a huge success. Many thanks to all who helped out.

Our next meeting is on Friday, October 11 during B advisory in room 308 at Canyon Ridge. Eat during A lunch and come to the meeting afterwards. We are hoping to have a representative from Safe House there to discuss the needs of Safe House for our volunteer opportunities.

Safe House Twin Falls

HELP HELP HELP! Safe house desperately needs some donations!!! We are completely out of deodorant for males, we also need more shampoo and conditioner and some bath poufs so each youth can have one to wash with. and, we are also in need of some razors for both girls and boys. If you can donate some of these items please give us a call and set up a time to drop them off 735-8087

We need all members and upcoming members to donate one or two cans of the spray whipped cream for Homecoming. Bring the cans to Mrs. Castronova in room 308 at Canyon Ridge.

Our first meeting was held on September 13. We introduced the officers and took applications for a new secretary. Our volunteer project is Safe House of the Magic Valley. We are asking for "gently used" or new clothes to donate to teens. New members need to pay the $5 dues by the next meeting on October 11. For the Homecoming tailgate on October 3 we need people to run our station which is a pie throwing contest.
