This week our 5th grade class did a STEM project to learn about the engineering design process and principles like buoyancy, water displacement, surface area, and density. They worked with a partner to build a boat out of clay and other materials to see if they could get it to float while holding pennies.
They had a blast and learned a lot about testing our designs and making improvements. Good job 5th grade!

What a night to be a Lion! 🦁💙🏈

The scoreboard may not have ended in our favor, but you never would have known it by looking at our stands. They were PACKED with Lighthouse families, students, alumni and friends showing up and cheering on our Lions!

Homecoming is about so much more than a football game—it’s about community. A huge thank you to our Booster Club, PTF, Mrs. Willow, and the MANY volunteers who gave their time and talents to make the night so special. From the food and festivities to face painting, school spirit and everything happening behind the scenes, it took so many hands to bring it all together.

We are incredibly grateful for a school community that shows up for one another. This is what it means to be a Lighthouse Lion.
