Congratulations to our Student Council seniors! Thank you for the incredible job you did this year. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!


Last, but not least, in our Student Council senior highlights is our ASB President, Mason Ward. This was Mason’s first year in Student Council and he did a great job serving as the student leader for the Bruins. After graduation Mason will serve the people of Suva, Fiji on a full-time mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His favorite high school memory is the “mosh pit”. His favorite Student Council memory is helping plan service bowl and going to all the football games. Mason would like to thank his family, friends, teachers, and everyone who’s been there for him.

Mason’s favorite quote is “Shimmy shimmy yah, shimmy yay, shimmy yah; drink, swalalala.”


Time for another Senior Student Council spotlight, Preston Stokes. Preston is our ASB Vice President and has been in Student Council one year. After graduation he plans to serve a 2-year mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Santos, Brazil. Afterward, Preston will attend USU or BYU to major in business. His favorite high school memory was eating at McDonald’s with Jared and Mason. His favorite memory from Student Council was rafting during the StuCo retreat, “It was so much fun!” Preston would like to thank his sister Abby for doing StuCo before him, and Coach Ben Kohring.

One of Preston’s favorite quotes is “There is no tomorrow.”- Apollo Creed”


Let’s celebrate Grayson Keyes, a Senior on Student Council.

This is Grayson’s second year on Student Council, serving as both Junior Class Vice President and ASB Secretary. After graduation he will take his astounding football talents to Carroll College where he will then pursue his business degree. His sweetest memory of high school was the Service Bowl game his senior year. He enjoyed the immense support that the community displayed, and the ecstatic atmosphere surrounding the game. Grayson thoroughly enjoyed the Student Council Retreat where we rafted the Hagerman stretch of the Snake River. He would like to thank all his teachers.

Time to highlight another Senior Student Council member, Liesel Chaffin.

Liesel has been on Student Council for three years! She has served as Sophomore Class Senator, ASB Senator, and as the current ASB Treasurer this year. After high school Liesel will be attending University of Idaho to double major in business and fashion design. Her favorite memory from high school was sophomore year homecoming court because she spiced it up a little bit and ended up in the hospital. Her favorite student council memories are both State StuCo’s because she likes an adventure and meeting new people. Liesel would like to thank her sister Eliza for always being there for her.

Her favorite quote is “Shut up, no Way!”-Liesel Chaffin Thank you Liesel for your years of support and dedication in Student Council. You have left your mark here at TFHS, and we wish you the best of luck going forward!”


Next up in our celebration of Student Council Seniors, Sydney Jund.

Sydney is serving as the ASB Bruinographer, taking pictures of all the events here at TFHS. After graduation she plans on playing travel summer ball and enjoying her summer before attending the College of Idaho in the fall to study digital marketing and play softball for the Yotes. Syd’s favorite high school memory is either discovering her passion for journalism and photography through her injury or winning state soccer her sophomore year. Her favorite StuCo memory was rafitng on her birthday at the retreat before school, and Abbey, Jordan, and her falling asleep on the raft. Sydney would like to thank her parents and coaches, specifically Tonia Burk, Mrs. Sorenson, and Mrs. Jones.

Sydney’s favorite quote comes from none other than Coach Tonia Burk herself, “Be where your feet are.”

Let’s highlight another Student Council Senior, TJ Bowman.

This was TJ’s first year in Student Council where he took on the role of ASB Spirit Coordinator, leading the student body in chants and cheers at games and assemblies. After graduation he will be attending Hesston College in Hesston, KS to play baseball and pursue a study in exercise science. His favorite high school memory was going to state baseball all 4 years and spending that time with his team. Otis’ favorite Student Council memory? “I loved dressing up and hanging out at the activities during HOCO spirit week.”He would lke to thank all of his teachers, Bruin-Nation, and his amazing parents.

TJ’s favorite quote is “I didn’t fail, I just found 10,000 ways to do it wrong.”- Thomas Edison”


Our next Student Council Senior is Maya Blom.

Maya has been in Student Council for two years and is the current ASB School Marketing Director. After graduation she is attending ISU where she will major in Nursing, hoping to become a Labor and Delivery Nurse (at the moment). Her favorite high school memory has definitely been football season/Service Bowl. It has brought our student body closer together in the beginning of every year. Maya’s favorite StuCo memory has been going to state both her Junior and Senior years! Getting to experience it together was really uniting and fun for the group. She would like to thank her family, friends, and boyfriend for helping her stay sane throughout these years.

A motto Maya thinks of everyday is “It’s everyone’s first time living too.”


This year, Lauren Tureman took first place in the high school 3D art division at the Magic Valley Symphony art show. Congratulations!

“Celebrating our next Student Council Senior, Noelle Aldama.

This is Noelle’s second year in Student Council and is the Class of 2024 Senior Class President. After graduation she plans to attend the University of Utah where she will study architecture and design. Her favorite high school memories are going to football games, specifically Service Bowl, and hanging out with friends. Her favorite memory from Student Council is planning her Junior Prom and being able to spend time and getting to know everyone. She would like to thank her parents, especially her Dad, Mrs. Ladwig, and her dance coach Jazlyn Wilson.

Her life motto is “Be kind to everyone because you never know what they are going through.” Good Luck Noelle, thank you for all you have done for Student Council the last two years!

This was Jared’s first year in Student Council and he has served as Senior Class Vice President. After graduation Jared is going to serve a two-year mission in Kobe, Japan beginning in July. After his mission, he plans to go to college to become a physical therapist. Jared’s favorite high school memory is going to state for basketball his Junior and Senior year. His favorite StuCo memory is the retreat at the beginning of the year when we went river rafting. He would like to thank his friends, Preston and Mason, and Coach Mac Stannard and Mr. Forster.

Fabian has been in Student Council one year and is the current Senior Class Secretary. After graduation Fabian will attend CSI and receive his under grad. After that, he plans to attend Utah State in search of a degree in Business Administration. Fabian’s favorite high school memory is making Kool-Aid with Kevin (Hutchinson) in 4th period. His favorite Student Council memory was making a book tower with Noah in Student Council. He would like to thank Mr. Hutchinson and Mrs. Ladwig for actually believing in my potential.

“Let’s celebrate another Student Council Senior, Saylor Erickson.

Saylor has been in Student Council for one year and is the current Senior Class Treasurer where she keeps the budget in line. After graduation Saylor is planning on attending ISU to study physical therapy, where she will run Track and Cross Country. Her favorite high school memory is all of the Service Bowl games because the student section is always so fun and wild. She also loved going to all of the dances and spending time with classmates. Some of Saylor’s favorite memories from student council are setting up for assemblies, working together on a project and seeing the work pay off, and doing Change-4-Change together. She’d like to thank all of the amazing teachers she’s had at TFHS who pushed her, believed in her, and have been huge supporters! She also wants to thank her amazing parents and friends who uplift her and help her to be better each day. :)

We would like to celebrate another of our Senior Student Council Members, Noah Thompson.

Noah has been in student council one year and serves in Student Council as the Senior Class Senator, helping to plan HOCO, Senior Sunset, and keeping the Class of 2024 hyped up. After graduation Noah plans to have a fun summer before attending ISU. His favorite high school memory is Senior Sunrise, “”It was lit.”” His favorite membory from Student Council was Homecoming Spirit Week. He would like to thank everyone who supported him over the years.

Time to celebrate our Seniors in Student Council before they are gone. First up, Kadence Boyd!

Kadence is finishing her first year with Student Council as the Senior Class Marketing Director. After graduation Kadence plans to attend College of Idaho to continue her athletic and academic career. She will be playing volleyball in the fall while studying nursing. Her favorite high school memory was winning state for volleyball her sophomore year. Kadence´s favorite memory from Student Council was the StuCo retreat when we went rafting as a class. Kadence would like to thank her family, friends, coaches, and teachers for helping her along the way.

From June 3rd to 5th, the Twin Falls High School staff, along with current and former players, will host a three-day, no-pad football camp for players entering grades 4th through 9th in the fall 2024.


St. Luke’s Physical Night is on May 15th!
