Falling Creek is a traditional summer camp for boys located in Tuxedo, North Carolina, set on 900+ private mountaintop acres. Psalm 133.

We exist to shepherd the journey of growth through love and adventure. Falling Creek Camp is a traditional summer camp for boys founded on Christian values. We offer summer employment for the best-of-the-best college-age staff to provide each camper with the greatest summer possible!

Missing camp life? We are too! This mountain has been pretty quiet all week… but that changes tomorrow!

We have one more Father/Son Weekend starting tomorrow, and we can’t wait for three days of fun to close out the 2026 summer season on a high note.

The Green & Gold Award is given annually to the staff member who best exemplifies the Falling Creek Code – Positive Attitude, Warrior Spirit, Servant’s Heart, Moral Compass – and who is known for carrying the Falling Creek spirit of unselfishness in their heart.

This year we celebrate Ben Farmer!

Ben’s journey from camper to staff to leadership has been seamless. In his 3rd year on staff he defined the role of Line Head with unselfishness and a fun spirit. His care for both the campers and staff runs deep. Robinia benefited because of the community Ben built through care and intention. He cares deeply about the wellbeing of both the campers and the staff and makes sure everyone feels seen. Ben makes the concerns of others his priority, whether it be a hornets’ nest or snake in the cabin, finding batteries or brooms, or taking great care to listen to people when someone needs to talk.

In activities, he carries on the Longenecker Lump tradition, leads stargazing overnights, and has studied hundreds of plants and farming traditions to improve his knowledge as a teacher. Ben works to make sure campers’ experience was the same he had.

He does not work tirelessly for praise but because he believes in the mission of camp and understands the good it does. We are glad and grateful to spend the summer alongside you, Ben.

Whether you’re a camper or a counselor, we’re cheering for you as you start the school year! 📚✏️🏫

Some of you are returning to elementary school, starting a new middle school, entering your senior year, or continuing your college studies. Regardless, we’re confident that there’s a great year ahead for each of you.

We know that you’ll be modeling the FCC Code throughout the school year, just as you do at camp:

💪Your Warrior Spirit will be present through your perseverance in studies and the way you’ll pursue your goals.
🧭 Your Moral Compass will be visible when you choose to do the right thing, whether in sports, during tests, or just among friends.
😄 Your Positive Attitude will be contagious as you continue to be a positive and fun classmate or teammate to be around.
💚💛 And your Servant’s Heart will be seen when you look for ways to help classmates, teachers, coaches, and teammates.

We’ll see you back here on the mountain next summer, but until then know that you have what it takes and we’re proud of you!

Though words feel inadequate to express all the gratitude we have, we still want to say a huge thank you to our 2026 staff team!

We are in awe of the passion, time, skill, hard work, dedication, and love that they put into this summer. These are just a handful of photos showing how much fun and knowledge they each brought to camp.

From staff training way back in May until the end of Junior Camp now in August, they’ve given so much to this mountain and the community they built here.

Thank you counselors, there would be no camp without you! 💚💛

Junior Camp families, we hope you all had safe travels home today. Maybe your car ride was full of stories about the week, or maybe it was quiet as tired boys fell asleep on the way home - either way, we’re so grateful you chose to share your boys with us this past week! 💚💛

Last night was our second set of Cabin Overnights! 🏕️

During this one-week Junior Camp, we may not have time for the multi-day outdoor trips in our longer sessions, but it’s still important that the boys get to experience a taste of that adventure. Cabin Overnights are a great chance to get out of your comfort zone, cook dinner outdoors (and s’mores!), and have fun camping out.

Taking it all in: the views, the new activities, and all the excitement that comes with camp. It may be a short session, but Junior Campers have been going full speed ahead and making the most of every moment this week!

Day one fun! 🎉

We packed so much in during our first full day of Junior Camp yesterday. Today has been no different, and after a morning of activity rotations we’re about to start our first Free Choice time before lunch!

Junior Camp, we saved the best for last! This week is high energy, fast paced, fun, and off to a great start after Opening Day yesterday.
