Almost 2 years ago, the Cedar Creek Kids went on a business venture selling their harvested sunflower seeds to customers (mommy 😊) to help purchase new toys they wanted. The children harvested and bagged the seeds themselves! One of our sweet boys has grown his plants for 2 years in a row and look how big they are! Great job buddy!

πŸ¦‹ Lots of new beginnings happening for our kiddos lately. One of our amazing families donated caterpillars to hatch and today was release day! It’s been a fun experience watching and learning about the many stages of butterfly development. And our sweet Marley 🐈 is due next week!

Last week, we used a microscope to look at a rabbit’s spinal cord, bee’s leg, onion epidermis, and sunflower stem. First few pics were just some pretty colors we saw (and identified) while trying to get in focus.
They really enjoyed this and we will do it again soon.
