Elon Musk once told the interviewer that he can see into the future; history will deliver the verdict.

Elon Musk:
I’m very good at predicting the future. I’m not perfect, but I’m very good at it. My batting average is very high for a human.

However, this creates something of a Cassandra effect, where people do not believe that what I’m saying is likely to be true. I can see into the future with a higher probability of success than most people. Not perfectly, of course, but better than most, including when predicting things that people sometimes consider counterintuitive.

Again, I’m not saying that I’m always right. I certainly am not. But my batting average is very good.

History will deliver the verdict. I think you will find that very little of what I have said is inaccurate. The overwhelming majority of what I have said is highly accurate and will come to pass, unless there is a change in direction.“

Elon Musk is closing in on a trillion dollars again. On Fox, Stuart Varney put the number at $999 billion and asked Maye Musk about it.

“It’s investments in these companies, she said. It’s not money in the bank. It’s just investments in his company.”

Then she made it sound simple.

“So you can start six companies that are going to fail, and then you invest in your companies, and then you can become a trillionaire. It’s easy.”

Varney asked where Elon goes next. He’s got the trillion, the rockets and all that.

Maye said he already has a lot on his plate. A big factory in Memphis. Terafab. Mars, of course. And the moon.

There’s plenty.
