Hey there CCP parents!

Our VBS is coming up July 26-28. If you're kids are currently enrolled, they'll automatically be going to the VBS on those days. If you kids are currently not attending CCP, and you would like for them to join the VBS, send me (Brian) a message (contact info in the video).

Also parents! If you want to help out, let me know as well! Would love to work together with you on putting on a great VBS for our kids! :)

CCP CHAPEL – MAY 10
CREATION

BIG IDEA: God made everything!
SCRIPTURE: Genesis 1:20-31

RECAP:
• God made everything!
• The Bible tells a story on how God made everything.
• Let’s review what God made on the first and second day.
• On the first day, God made light!
• He separated the light from the dark, making day and night!
• He looked at what he made and said, “That’s good!”
• On the second day, God made water that filled the earth!
• He also made the sky.
• He looked at the water and sky and said, “That’s good!”
• On the third day, God made the land and seas.
• On top of the land, he made plants and trees!
• He looked at the land, tree and plants, and seas and said, “That’s good!”
• On the fourth day, God made the sun, moon, and stars.
• He looked at the sun, moon, and stars and said, “That’s good!”
• Now on the fifth day, God made sea creatures like fish and octopuses!
• He looked at those sea creatures and said, “That’s good!”
• On the sixth day, God made land creatures like giraffes and pigs!
• He also created the first man and woman! They were named Adam and Eve!
• God created the first people like you and me!
• God looked at the land creatures, and at Adam and Even, and this time He said, “That’s very good!”
• When God created people, like you and me, God said it was very good!
• You’re very special in God’s eyes!
• God made everything!

DISCUSSION QUESTION:
• If God said, “That’s very good!” when he made people like you and me, how does that make you feel?

• God made everything.
• The Bible tells a story on how God made everything.
• Before God created everything, there was nothing.
• We can’t really do much with nothing, right?
• So, on the first day, God made light!
• He separated the light from the dark, making day and night!
• He looked at what he made and said, “That’s good!”
• God was just beginning making everything!
• On the second day, God made water that filled the earth!
• He also made the sky.
• He looked at the water and sky and said, “That’s good!”
• God made all of these things including you and me!
• We’ll find out what else He made next week!

DISCUSSION QUESTION:
• How do you feel when you make something cool like a craft or yummy like a snack?
• Did you know that God made everything? What do you think about that?
