GET SAFE

GET SAFE We will train you in effective personal safety, violence prevention, and crisis intervention tactics.

What sets us apart from other training companies our three-prong approach to training. First, we start by ensuring the students are self-aware of how their own life circumstances contribute to any crises they are involved in. Then we bring focus on managing crises involving vulnerable populations and those with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Having worked for decades with vulnerabl

e populations, members of the IDD community, first responders, and corporations, GET SAFE is able to help each group better understand one other; thus, we make the de-escalation process easier and less stressful. Lastly, we provide proven verbal tactics and strategies so our students become de-escalation and compliance professionals. It is the practical application of these strategies that make our students successful in their personal journeys of staying safe. We recognize that safety is a personal choice, and we empower our students through enjoyable, educational, and hands-on learning experiences. It is through this training that we are changing mindsets and changing outcomes.

Safety takes a team.

We were grateful to have our friend and MMA fighter, Ricardo Dias join the Get Safe team as we partnered with Crime Survivors for a powerful day of learning, awareness and empowerment.

Because strength isn’t just about knowing how to fight. It’s knowing how to recognize risk, read your environment and make safer decisions before a situation escalates.

Big thanks to Ricardo for bringing his experience, energy and heart to the day!

Get Safe. Be Safe!

Come together. Learn together. Get safer together.

Freedom isn’t found in living afraid. It’s found in having the awareness, knowledge and tools to move through life with greater confidence.

That’s what this day with Get Safe and Crime Survivors was all about: bringing people together, learning how to read our surroundings, recognize potential risks and make safer choices.

Because situational awareness isn’t about fear.
It’s about freedom.

Together, we can build safer, stronger communities.

Safety is more than knowing what to do in a difficult moment. It’s about having the awareness, tools and confidence to navigate everyday life.

Today, Get Safe was honored to partner with Crime Survivors for a special Saturday Safety Training, working alongside survivors of violent crime, kids and families to learn practical ways to stay aware, prepared and empowered.

More than 100 participants came together for a day centered around learning, connection and even a little fun.
Because when we give people the tools to feel safer, we give them something powerful: confidence.

Thank you to Crime Survivors and Patricia for bringing the community together.

Get Safe. Be Safe.

Don’t wait until it’s too late to teach safety.

Not getting the job you wanted? That’s tough. Not knowing how to recognize danger, trust your instincts, or respond when something feels wrong? That can have a much bigger impact.

That’s why schools are one of the best places to start safety education. When we teach kids awareness, boundaries, communication, and what to do in real-world situations, we give them tools they can carry for life.

Safety shouldn’t start when something goes wrong. Train before you need it.

Well… we learned something at UCI. 😂

When it comes to personal safety, some lessons are more memorable than others. And yes, it turns out pretty much anyone can get hit in the groin… and yes, it hurts.
All jokes aside, moments like this are part of what makes Get Safe training different. We make safety education practical, interactive, memorable, and empowering so students walk away with tools they can actually use.

Get Safe. Be Safe.

As students prepare for a new school year, one lesson matters just as much as any class they’ll take: knowing how to stay safe. We were honored to partner with ASUCI to equip students with practical personal safety skills, situational awareness, and the confidence to recognize risks, make smart decisions, and navigate campus life with greater confidence.

College is full of new opportunities. Being prepared helps students make the most of every one of them.
Get Safe. Be Safe.

Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are among the most vulnerable to abuse, bullying, and exploitation.

Yet they’re often overlooked when it comes to personal safety education.

We believe everyone deserves training that is engaging, accessible, respectful, and designed to meet them where they are.

Because safety should never be out of reach.

The countdown to a new school year has begun.

One of the greatest gifts we can give our kids isn’t just school supplies, it’s the confidence to know what to do when something doesn’t feel right.

Safety starts with conversations at home, creating trusted adults they can turn to, and practicing simple safety plans before they’re ever needed. Just like schools practice fire drills, families can practice real-life scenarios that help children respond with confidence instead of fear.

Preparation isn’t about expecting the worst. It’s about empowering kids with the tools, awareness, and support to navigate life safely.

Let’s help every child head back to school feeling prepared, protected, and empowered.
