Not even close! 😉

While it may look like kids are simply splashing, pouring, scooping, and playing with pumpkins, there’s so much learning happening along the way. ✨

💡 Thinking & Discovery
Cause and effect, floating and sinking, measuring, comparing, experimenting, and asking “What happens if…?”

🤲 Motor & Sensory Skills
Pouring, scooping, squeezing, transferring, hand-eye coordination, and exploring different textures, temperatures, and weights.

Sharing, taking turns, communicating, working together, problem-solving, and practicing patience.

Pumpkin potions, witch’s soup, little experiments… when children lead the play, the possibilities are endless! 🎃🪄

🍃 September Recap at TCP! 🍂

One month into the new school year, and we’re finding our rhythm! 🥰✨

September was all about settling in, making new friends, and learning through play. We explored ourselves, our families, friends & community, learned to recognize and understand different emotions, got comfortable with our new routines and expectations, and welcomed the beginning of fall. 🍂💛

We also came together with our TCP families for our Welcome Back Party — a perfect way to kick off a new school year and celebrate our community! 🐳❤️

Our TCP kids know how to make their own playdough! 🙌🏻
Want to try it at home? Save our TCP recipe! ✨

🥣 2½ cups flour
🧂 ½ cup salt
💧 2 cups water
🫗 3 Tbsp oil
🎨 Food coloring

Directions:

1. Mix flour and salt.
2. Add water, oil & food coloring.
3. Mix everything together.
4. Add a little more flour if needed.
5. Transfer to a table and knead until soft.

And that’s it — time to play! 🥰🎨

Our little explorers took a walk from TCP to our local post office for a very special mission — sending a special letter to Mom: an invitation to our Mother’s Day Tea 🌸 (yes, we’re still sharing some of our favorite moments from last school year! 😊)

They put the stamps on themselves and dropped their letters into the mailbox. 🥹💌 The kids also got a behind-the-scenes look at how the mail works and explored the postal vehicles — climbing inside, taking a closer look, and even sitting behind the wheel! 🚐📮

Field trips like this turn everyday experiences into opportunities to learn, explore, and understand how the world around us works. ✨

And the best part? 💛 Our moms received their special invitations and joined us for a beautiful Mother’s Day Tea! 👒🫖 You can find the Reels from our Mother’s Day celebration right here in our feed. ❤️🐳

First Day of Preschool Last Year 🐢

Let’s look back at how our school year started last year! 🥹✨ New faces, little hands to hold, lots of big feelings… and the beginning of so many wonderful memories.

And now, we’re getting ready to do it all over again! 🥳

We can’t wait to welcome our new families experiencing their very first day at TCP, and to see all of our returning friends back at preschool again. 🥰

A new school year, new adventures, and so many special moments ahead…

🌺 Let’s take a little trip back to one of the sweetest days of our school year—our Mother’s Day celebration.

On that special day, our wonderful moms arrived at TCP dressed in beautiful spring outfits—scroll back through our feed to see how excited they were while waiting to be invited in! 😉 The children couldn’t wait to surprise them with gifts they had lovingly made. 🙌🏻

Each mom received a collection of handmade keepsakes:
👒 a flower-decorated hat,
💖 a brooch,
🪎 a keepsake box with a photo of her child,
😍 hand-painted wooden earrings.

Then it was time for a cozy tea party. The children proudly served their moms tea, cookies, and sweet treats, making them feel extra loved and appreciated. ☕🍪

The celebration continued with music, dancing, games, laughter, and so many heartfelt moments shared together. Afterward, many of our families went to a café together, where the children kept playing while the moms enjoyed chatting and spending more time together. 🥰

These are the moments that make TCP so special—not just for our children, but for the whole family. ❤️🐳

Thank you to all of our wonderful moms for celebrating with us and helping us create memories we’ll cherish for years to come. 🌷

🐳 Parent & Toddler at TCP!

Welcoming children who are 1 year and 9 months old by September and turn 2 by the end of the calendar year.

💰 $175 per 10-week session
Materials included 🎨

For nearly 30 years, TCP has provided a warm, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers who are not yet ready for preschool.

With our wonderful teacher, Ms. Lynelle 💛 — and a parent, grandparent, or caregiver by their side — little ones enjoy a gentle and joyful introduction to preschool life.

With a small class size of just 10–12 children, toddlers enjoy art 🎨, music 🎶, storytelling 🐳📖, and activities that help develop fine and gross motor skills.

Learning happens through play — indoors in our cozy classroom and outdoors on our playground 🌳 — with group activities, parallel play, exploration, and plenty of laughter.

Adults participate alongside their children as they sing, dance, play, and create special memories together. Families also take turns bringing a healthy, age-appropriate snack 🥗

Choose a class time:

🔹 Tuesday, 9:00–10:30 AM
🔹 Wednesday, 9:00–10:30 AM
🔹 Thursday, 9:00–10:30 AM

Classes are offered throughout the school year, with occasional shorter sessions around the holidays.
