James finished 7 weeks of proton radiation therapy for prostate cancer at the South Florida Proton Therapy Institute in Delray Beach, FL. He wants to thank his wife, Mary Ann, his children, friends and supporters from Temple University Women’s Basketball team and coach Diane Richardson. “I encourage men to get yearly check-ups and get their PSA monitored. We caught this cancer early because of yearly blood work. Thanks everyone!”

His longstanding admiration for the team and deep connection to its spirit have brought him to Philadelphia on numerous occasions. During these visits, James has spent countless hours with the coaching staff and athletes, engaging in discussions about personal accountability and work ethic, helping prepare them for both games and life.
