Meet Ms. Makenzie! 🩷

"Hey! I'm Mackenzie, and I'm from Tuscumbia, Alabama. I've been a part of the Calvary family for about four months, and I'm so thankful to be here.

Before joining Calvary, I gained childcare experience by babysitting my nephews for several years whenever I was needed. During high school, I also completed dual enrollment Child Development courses, which helped grow my passion for working with children.

In my free time, I love spending time with my daughter and boyfriend. We enjoy taking my daughter to the park, going on shopping trips together, and making special memories as a family.

I have been so blessed to become a part of the Calvary family. The staff has been incredibly welcoming, and I love watching the children grow, learn, and develop their unique personalities each day. It is such a joy to be a part of their journey!"

Meet Ms. Anne! 🩵

"Hi! I'm Anne, and I'm from Tuscumbia, Alabama. I recently joined the Calvary family as a floater!

Before coming to Calvary, I worked in childcare at First United Methodist Church, where I've been serving since October 2024. I'm also currently attending the University of North Alabama, where I'm working toward a degree in Psychology.

In my free time, I enjoy working out, reading, and spending time with friends. I also have three dogs!

I'm so grateful to be a part of the Calvary Learning Center family. The children are so sweet and never fail to put a smile on my face. I look forward to getting to know each child and helping them learn, grow, and have fun every day!"

We only have 3 more spots available in our Alabama First Class Pre-K program!

FREE Pre-K Hours:
7:45 AM – 2:15 PM

Need additional care? We also offer:
Before Care: 6:00 AM – 7:45 AM
After Care: 2:15 PM – 5:30 PM

We provide full-day childcare when Pre-K is not in session, including Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Summer Break, and most other scheduled school holidays.

Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are included each day!

What a sweet way to wrap up summer! Our July theme was Ice Cream, and it was filled with hands-on learning, creative crafts, sensory play, fun games, and, of course, some yummy treats!

Meet Ms. Claudia! 💚

"Hey! I'm Claudia, and I'm from Tuscumbia, Alabama. I'm a Site 2 Assistant Teacher. While I'm new to the Calvary family, I've always loved working with children and have gained experience caring for kids by babysitting for family and friends.

I'm currently in my second year at Northwest Shoals Community College. In my free time, I enjoy tanning, going on boat rides, having movie nights, taking naps, and spending time by the pool. I'm engaged to my fiancé, and together we have a sweet daughter named Harper, who is almost two years old.

My favorite part of working with children is seeing the world through their eyes and watching how they think and learn. I love helping them build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to grow and prepare for the next stage of life. I'm so excited to be part of the Calvary family and look forward to getting to know all of our amazing children and families!"
