There is just something so special about putting on your very own FFA jacket for the first time. 💙💛

These kiddos are now carrying on a tradition that so many FFA members before them have loved, cherished, and made memories in. That blue jacket becomes more than just a piece of clothing—it represents hard work, friendships, opportunities, growth, and a whole lot of pride.

I can’t wait to watch where this journey takes each of them. I hope they fall in love with the blue and gold just as much as I did… and maybe even a little more. 💙💛

Learning by doing!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Gabrielle Branstetter from University of Missouri Extension into our classroom! She shared with our students how 4-H opportunities connect with agriculture careers, industry skills, and FFA contests.

Students learned about opportunities in poultry and meat sciences and then put their skills to the test with an egg-cooking challenge! 🍳

We love giving our students opportunities to see how the skills they learn today can connect to their future!

💙💛 National FFA Officer Visit 💛💙

Today, our freshman Ag students had the incredible opportunity to spend some time with National FFA Officer T. Wayne Williams from Tennessee—and what an experience it was!

There was just something so genuine, warm, and unmistakably Southern about T. Wayne and his voice that made you want to stop, listen, and hear every word he had to say. From the moment he started speaking, our students were captivated. 💙

T. Wayne challenged our students to think about the importance of helping others. He shared a powerful lesson about a tool: a tool may be sharp, but it becomes even sharper when it is used to sharpen others. What a beautiful reminder that our greatest impact often comes when we use our own strengths to help someone else grow.

He also talked about the importance of finding the people who lift you up—the friends who cheer you on, encourage you, believe in you, and celebrate your successes every step of the way. Surrounding yourself with people who want to see you succeed can make all the difference. 🌱

His message to our students was simple but powerful: help others, lift others up, and surround yourself with people who believe in you.When we do those things together, we can accomplish goals that may have once seemed out of reach.

What a wonderful lesson for our freshmen to hear as they begin their high school and FFA journey. 🦁💛

Thank you, T. Wayne, for taking the time to invest in our students and remind them that leadership isn't just about how far you go—it’s about how many people you help along the way.💙💛

💙💛 Area 8 Leadership Conference 💛💙

What a day of growth, leadership, teamwork, and memories for our Tuscumbia FFA Officer Team! 🦁🌱

Our officers competed in the Rituals Contest, and while we didn’t bring home the win, we walked away with something even more valuable—growth. In just a few short weeks, these students have grown tremendously in their confidence, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Watching them learn to work together and step outside of their comfort zones has been one of the best parts of this journey.

At the Leadership Conference, our officers practiced leadership skills, worked together, and learned more about how they can help recruit and grow our FFA chapter. Recruitment will be a major focus for us this spring, and I am excited to see what this team can accomplish as they help share the opportunities FFA has to offer with other students. 🌱🦁

One of the highlights of the day was hearing from National FFA Officer T. Wayne Williams. His message about slowing down, appreciating the moments we are living in, and taking time to truly enjoy the people right in front of us was such a beautiful reminder. ❤️ Sometimes we get so busy chasing the next thing that we forget to appreciate the moment we are currently in. His words were truly heartfelt and left an impact on our officers.

FFA members are expected to purchase an FFA T-shirt as part of their required chapter apparel. Wearing FFA apparel helps promote chapter unity, pride, and professionalism while representing our organization at FFA activities and events. We also encourage our community to support our members by purchasing and wearing an FFA T-shirt, helping us build community pride and show continued support for our FFA organization.

💙💛 Back-to-School Bash = SUCCESS!💛💙

It was the perfect way to kick off a new school year—giving our members a chance to catch up, laugh, get a little crazy, and make memories together. More importantly, they had the opportunity to build friendships and strengthen the bonds that make our FFA chapter so special. 💙💛

They might be a little sore tomorrow, but the smiles, laughs, and memories were 100% worth it! 😂

💙💛 Tuscumbia FFA Gives Back!💛💙

Today was a truly special day for our Tuscumbia FFA members as they came together to serve others during the **Missouri FFA Food Insecurity Day and Drive to Feed Kids.

Our members spent the day working hard to package meals for children and families in need. Together, we helped package nearly 180,000 meals, all while working toward an incredible goal of 250,000 meals by the end of the day!🙌

We were also honored to have the opportunity to work side-by-side with Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe, making an already meaningful day even more memorable.

This is what FFA is all about—service, leadership, teamwork, and making a difference in the lives of others.We are so proud of our members for giving their time and energy to such an important cause.

Today, they didn't just package meals—they helped package hope. 💙💛
