After many prayers and requests from the Colbert County Schools’ citizens, I say yes today.

What am I saying yes to? Yes to being a candidate for the 2024 Colbert County Schools Superintendent.

I have worked for four systems in my 32-year career in education: Selma City Schools (2years), Montgomery Public Schools (3 years), Lawrence County Schools ( 14 years) and Colbert County Schools ( 13 years and counting).

I have served at every school in the CCS System except New Bethel Elementary School and Colbert Heights High School.

All of the systems mentioned have impacted my life and played a major role in molding me into the man and educator I am today.

They all have something in common. I loved working for each of them, and my love for one did not stop me from falling in love with the others.

I have one promise to make: “I will work for the kids!!”
