We will be doing Smashbooks again this year! This is where we take a children’s book, add ‘us’ into the story and recreate the pages to be interactive.
The Global Samaritan Resources free book room is perfect place to find a book to use. Go for a hardback children’s book with plenty of pages and illustrations that you like.
I have mine! Can’t wait to get started!

Happy Summer! While we are all resting and recouping from last year - I have started planning for next year. Super excited about the new class offering of Hospitality/Tourism. My wish list includes things for all my classes. Thank you in advance for helping my provide the best possible learning experience for my students!!

Happy summer everyone!
I am looking for a tall bistro table set for my classroom for next year.
I am happy to tell that I will be adding Hospitality and Tourism to my class load this coming year. I am wanting to set up a space for practicing serving in my room.

Hello!!! School is getting so close!

If you are taking art with Mrs. Lockley next year… you will need 1 more thing.
Please bring an old children’s book - that can be drawn in without anyone being upset about it.
It needs lots of pictures, the more colorful, the better. It also needs to have at least 15 pages… so numbered to 30+ ‘sides’. We will be using each side as a basis for a design.
Find one that you like what’s in it!
