During Homecoming Week at Holt High School, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency worked with students on the importance of safe and responsible decision-making, both behind the wheel and in the workforce.
Students learned about the dangers and consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances and how impaired decision-making can affect their safety, future opportunities, and employment.
Students had the opportunity to:
-Participate in a hands-on activity using Fatal Vision Goggles to experience how impairment can affect vision, coordination, and judgment.
-Drive a Gator/4x4 as part of the hands-on demonstration.
-Discuss the importance of being alcohol- and drug-free when preparing for and entering the workforce, including making responsible choices that protect their safety, reputation, and career opportunities.
Thank you Ms. Cruthfield for coordinating this learning opportunity for our students
