March 14 is Pi Day — a celebration of the mathematical constant π (3.14), the number that represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. The date (3/14) matches the first three digits of pi, making it a perfect fit.

First recognized in 1988, Pi Day has grown into an international celebration of math, science, and problem-solving. Whether you’re studying engineering, business, health sciences, or the arts, math connects us all.

International Women’s Day is more than a hashtag — it’s rooted in over a century of global history.

Observed each year on March 8, International Women’s Day began in the early 1900s during a period of industrial growth and social change. Women across Europe and the United States organized for fair wages, safer working conditions, and voting rights. By 1911, the first official International Women’s Day events were held in several countries, and today it is recognized worldwide.

Holi is here! 🎉🌸

Celebrated across India and around the world, Holi is known as the “Festival of Colors.” It marks the arrival of spring and symbolizes renewal, joy, and the triumph of good over evil. The celebration is tied to the full moon in the Hindu month of Phalguna, which is why the date changes each year.

Traditionally, friends and families gather to share sweets, music, laughter—and of course, bright colored powders that represent love, unity, and new beginnings.

Did you know Women’s History Month in the U.S. was officially recognized in 1987? It grew out of local efforts to correct the underrepresentation of women in history education and was formally designated by the United States Congress. March is now used nationwide to highlight women’s contributions to American history, leadership, science, culture, and social progress—past and present.
