University Place Elementary School is comprised of a faculty and student body of learners and leaders! STEAM allows our students to develop problem solving and collaboration skills while exploring the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. We fully integrate those STEAM disciplines throughout our regular curriculum, and give our students the opportunity to apply what they're learning to real life. UPES is proud to be a Lighthouse School with the Franklin Covey Leader in Me program and the first school in the Tuscaloosa City Schools to become an accredited STEAM school by COGNIA. The 7 Habits and hands-on approach provides our students with relevant learning experiences that give them the tools, skill set/habits and life skills required to succeed academically and socially. 🎀💖 WORKIN’ 9 TO 5 AT UNIVERSITY PLACE ELEMENTARY! 💖🎀
We were workin’ 9 to 5 today… but we made sure to have a little fun along the way! 🎶✨
Our Dolly Cart came rolling through University Place Elementary on Friday, bringing delicious snacks 🥨, refreshing drinks 🥤, and plenty of smiles to keep everyone powered up and ready to tackle the day! Because when you’re working 9 to 5, you definitely deserve a little pick-me-up! 😉💃🎀 Our teachers, staff, and students had a Dolly-good time celebrating Dolly Parton Day with a whole lot of laughter, treats, and school spirit!
🎶 Tumble outta bed and stumble to the kitchen…or in our case, roll that Dolly Cart right on through! 😂💕 Thank you to everyone who helped make our day 9 to 5 fabulous! 🌟
