Alabama’s Internationally Accredited School focused on teaching each individual according to his or her own needs preschool through 12th grade. Students are enrolled in multiage groups starting in preschool at age 2 ½ -5. High school students earn college credits while taking college classes. The school utilizes Dr. Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligence with lessons in Spanish, German, Chinese, Kindermusik, Violin, Piano, Art, Basketball, Swimming, Tennis, and more.

🌳 Starting the New School Year Together

Yesterday, The Capitol School and Tuscaloosa Academy once again celebrated their traditional student church service together to mark the beginning of the new school year, in cooperation with First Presbyterian Church and Pastor Thomas.

One special part of the service was our Wishing Tree. Everyone had the opportunity to write a wish for the new school year on a leaf and add it to the tree, transforming its once-empty branches into a beautiful, colorful tree filled with hopes and wishes. 🌿🌳

To make sure that all of our students who couldn’t attend yesterday also have the opportunity to add their wishes, we continued the tradition in German class today and filled the tree with even more wonderful wishes. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this such a special start to the new school year!

We’re already looking forward to our next German Church Service for St. Nicholas Day – and hope to see even more families there! 🎅🇩🇪
