Philanthropy chairman Parker Yuchinski organized Alpha Phi Zeta’s annual canned food drive for Tuscaloosa Soup Kitchen. Together, our chapter was able to donate over 350 canned food items. Outstanding work here men!

This past weekend, our High Alpha Michael Blotto travelled to Scottsdale, AZ where the 59th National General Assembly and Stead leadership conference was held. At the conference, High Pi Roy Gregg and Chapter Advisor/House Corp Property Manager Butch Camp received the Order of Merit award, the highest award granted from the fraternity for commitment at the local level for lengthy, unusual, or dedicated service. Since the fraternity’s founding in 1909, only 350 other brothers have received this award! We are grateful for everything Butch and Roy have done within our chapter, and congratulate them for receiving such a prestigious award.

Happy Founders Day! On May 4th, 1917, Alpha Phi Zeta was installed at the Capstone. In the 105 years at UA our chapter has initiated over 2,000, has never closed its doors, and never recolonized. We plan on celebrating many more!

This past Saturday, brothers Austin Bowling, Trent Aldrich, Ryan Goldsmith, and Mathis Morris participated in the Alabama Marine Foundation Gauntlet 5k. A big thanks to the brothers pictured for supporting our military and congratulations for completing the challenge!
