Join us for our season 3 kick-off (February 20, 2023) as Laura Daly interviews Trevor Bond and Lotus Norton of the Washington State University Mukurtu CMS project for episode 1 of the series. The Mukurtu CMS software focuses on outreach and connection with Indigenous communities in an effort to support indigenous communities and their digital archives in ways that support and respect their wants and needs.

Episode 1 will be posted to all current and previous platforms, including Omeka! In addition, episodes in season 3 will also utilize our newly added transcription service for better and more accessible listening.

A message from Dr. Riter: "One of our activities includes a Highlighting SLIS Archival Studies Research forum. This session will include brief research presentations [5-10 minutes] from SLIS community members. All are welcome to participate [students (MLIS, MFA, PhD) and faculty]. Research is broadly defined [as is archival studies] and we welcome overviews of beginning/ongoing/completed projects, class research projects, summaries of recent presentations and/or publications, and case studies of archival interventions performed in your work practice, internships, and other experiential learning activities."
