Freshman Year: Dorm Life.
Sophomore Year & Beyond: Surprise! You’re on your own. 😱
🏠 Do Not Panic — Plan Ahead! Finding your next rental is way easier when you visit UA Housing Fairs & check out UA’s Off-Campus Resources (OCR) website- search.offcampushousing.ua.edu
After freshman year, on-campus housing isn’t guaranteed - so now’s the time to start your research, budgeting, & planning for off-campus living.
At the Housing Fair, you’ll meet property reps, get rental info, & learn how to avoid rookie mistakes like forgetting to budget for Wi-Fi, toilet paper, or actual furniture.
🧠 UA OCR staff will be there to help — answering questions, handing out budget sheets, & helping you understand the rental process.
🎁 Oh! Did we mention FREE SWAG?
Yes, there will be giveaways — because nothing says “responsible adult” like a free pen & a stress ball shaped like a house...or hammer.
🚫 Important: You CANNOT be asked to complete an application or sign a lease at the fair.
📅 Join us this Wednesday, 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM — your future rental (& free swag) awaits.
