It’s Giving Tuesday, y’all!
Your gift to Bama Wesley keeps that Wesley feeling alive for current and future students — the best friends, the Bible study deep dives, the “my best study time is on this couch” energy, and the love of Jesus shared all across campus.
Help today’s students find the home-away-from-home Wesley's building and student community have been for generations.

Support Bama Wesley in 2025! “When I first came to Bama Wesley, I didn’t know where I fit in. The Monday Common Meal was more than just food—it was a place where I found friends, mentors, and a home. Without it, I don’t know where I’d be. The support and love I received here changed […]

Bama Wesley is all about creating a space where all students can discover who they are and what they’re here for. We do this by helping them grow in faith, find community, and serve others. Whether it’s through our student-led Monday Common Meal (with communion), Wednesday worship, small groups, service projects, or just being a safe place for students to gather, we’re seeing lives transformed every day. But right now, we’re facing some real financial challenges. That’s where you can help. To find out how you can support us during this tough time, click the link below.

Everyone is welcome to come celebrate with our 2024 Francis Asbury Award recipient, Ken Smith! The Francis Asbury Award recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to fostering United Methodist ministries in higher education. The award celebration luncheon will be held at Wesley Foundation from Noon – 2pm on Saturday, June 8. There will be time to eat, hear about highlights from Ken’s ministry, and learn about what Wesley Foundation is like now. Best of all, we will all get a chance to visit with Ken and other Wesley alumni and friends!

Lunch payment and event registration links will be open on the home page of bamawesley.org starting Monday, May 13. We’ll drop a reminder here when registration opens.

There will also be a Francis Asbury Award presentation at the North Alabama UMC Annual Conference that meets from May 30-June 1. That ceremony will include Ken-centric pictures and videos submitted by alumni. The conference video will be shared again at our Tuscaloosa gathering. Details about submitting are in the captions of this post.

"As someone who loves Wesley, you know the impact the ministry has. For many of you, this impact has been personal, deeply affecting you, your family, or your career. Some of you can still trace important moments in your life, like becoming a Christian or meeting a spouse, to the Wesley Foundation. I’m happy to say that this is the kind of ministry impact we still enjoy at Wesley today." From baptisms to renovations to the largest freshmen class in years, this is an incredibly exciting time to be a part of the ministry at Wesley! Check out Pastor Wade's year-end update here. We appreciate your support as you help us us faithfully head into the future!
