We are incredibly proud to announce that Jefferson Morris has been named a Semifinalist in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program! Join us in celebrating this outstanding academic achievement.

Over 1.3 million juniors nationwide entered the competition by taking the PSAT/NMSQT, and these students represent less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors.

He now has the opportunity to continue in the competition for thousands of National Merit Scholarships to be awarded next spring. We are so proud of your hard work, dedication, and leadership.

🇩🇪✈️ Falcons, Germany is calling!

CHS sophomores and juniors have an exciting opportunity to spend two weeks exploring Germany in July 2027 as part of a fully escorted cultural and educational exchange! Students will stay with a host family abroad and later welcome their exchange partner here in October 2027.

Interested? Join us for the CHS Student Interest Meeting on September 28 at 11:15 AM in the library to learn more about the experience and eligibility requirements.

Tuesday, September 15,
8:00–11:00 AM in the CHS Library.

Students who are 17½ years old or older are invited to stop by to register to vote or update their voter information.
