Stars, stripes and a little campus style! 🇺🇸

This month, our staff is taking part in Wacky Work Wardrobe Wednesday, a chance to step away from the everyday, show a little personality and have some fun together. We kicked things off with a "Stars, Stripes and Style" theme, and our team didn't disappoint!

Do you hear what I hear? 🎶

Did you hear the concert at Denny Chimes? That sound was Honors College student and Randall Research Scholar Luke Turner bringing history to life.

Turner’s work explores the rich tradition and acoustics of the iconic campus landmark, combining research, storytelling and performance to share the legacy of the chimes with the entire UA community. His project, recognized at the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Conference (URCA), highlights how undergraduate research can amplify the stories that define Alabama.

From research to performance, Luke is a powerful example of what it means to be an Honors student—curious, creative and committed to making an impact. Learn more about Denny Chimes, Luke and his work at: https://dennychimes.ua.edu/
