Anne returns to the Honors College after previously serving as events coordinator and brings extensive experience in relationship management, stakeholder engagement and strategic outreach. In her new role, she will help strengthen donor engagement, cultivate philanthropic support and advance the strategic priorities of Honors Forward.

Wacky Work Wardrobe Wednesday brought the beach vibes to the Honors College! From tropical prints to island-inspired looks, our staff was ready for a day in paradise... even if we were just on campus.

This month, our staff is taking part in Wacky Work Wardrobe Wednesday, a chance to step away from the everyday, show a little personality and have some fun together. We kicked things off with a "Stars, Stripes and Style" theme, and our team didn't disappoint!

Jane Batson, program coordinator for the Randall Research Scholars Program in The University of Alabama Honors College, has been named the recipient of the 2026 Dr. Minnie C. Miles Endowed Excellence Award.

The award recognizes administrative staff who go above and beyond in service to the University’s mission. Batson’s work may happen behind the scenes, but its impact is felt by Honors students every day.
