*The Student Center will close today at 4pm and reopen Thursday, March 31st at 7am.
With the impending threat of severe weather this evening, normal UA operations will be suspended at 4 p.m. today through 5 a.m. Thursday, March 31. All evening classes will be canceled. Campus emergency officials are actively monitoring the weather.
Severe weather forecasts place Tuscaloosa and our campus in a moderate (level 4 of 5) risk of severe weather with a potential for high winds, thunderstorms and possible tornadoes between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Watch for UA Alert notifications with instructions. When a tornado watch is issued, campus storm shelters will open. If a tornado warning is announced, take shelter immediately.
