🇺🇸 Do you remember? We remember.
For many of us, September 11, 2001 is a day we will never forget. We remember where we were. We remember the images on our televisions. We remember the fear, the heartbreak, the heroes, and the way our nation came together in the days that followed.
But we also remember the children.
We remember the students who walked into school that morning just like any other day, only to have their world forever changed. We remember the children who lost parents, siblings, teachers, family members, and loved ones. We remember the young lives lost that day and the thousands of children who went home to families that would never look quite the same.
And today, we look at the students walking through our own halls—children who were born years after September 11, 2001.
They may not remember it, but we do.
That is why we tell them the stories. We teach them about the courage of first responders, the sacrifice of ordinary people who became heroes, the value of our freedom, and the importance of loving and serving one another.
A generation that wasn’t there can still learn from a day that changed our nation forever.
Today, we remember those who went to work and never came home. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger. We remember the families left behind. We remember the children.
And we teach the next generation to remember, too.

Never forgotten. Always remembered.
