Happy Juneteenth! πŸŽ‰βœ¨

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, with news that the Civil War had ended and enslaved people were now freeβ€”two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation!

Today, we celebrate Black excellence, freedom, and the continued fight for equality. It’s a day to honor the rich history, culture, and contributions of African Americans.

Let's come together to celebrate freedom and push forward towards a more just and equitable society. πŸ–€β€οΈπŸ’š
