UAB’s Transfer Day is Friday (Oct 1). This preview day event is FREE for students and allows up to two guests (per student). Prospective students will have the opportunity to speak with academic and departmental representatives, hear from currently enrolled transfer students, and connect with admissions personnel with any questions about the transfer process. Transfer Day will take place on campus at UAB only, and students/guests can register to attend via this link: https://www.uab.edu/transferday

In an observance of Constitution Day, SSCC will host a voter registration drive in the atrium, 11:00-1:00 today. Come register to vote!

Honors Convocation 2021 will NOT occur in-person, but winners will be announced on the College website on May 7, 2021. To apply, students should visit the Home tab on myShelton and click on the Honors Convocation Awards image.

On Thursday, August 27th, Samford’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy will host an online presentation and chat with students interested in pharmacy, nursing, public health, and other health professions. Students can learn about pharmacy and what pharmacists do day-in and day-out. There will also be discussions on career paths through pharmacy and the other Samford health science programs. Anyone interested in a health science field is encouraged to participate. To register:
