Theta Chi would like to congratulate Brothers Cavin McLay and Ike Sheets on their recent induction to the 113th class of the Jason’s Senior Men’s Honorary. The Jasons Men’s Senior Honorary was founded in 1914 as the premier honor society at the Capstone.

The Jason’s Senior Men’s Honorary represents the 40 most distinguished men on campus who actively pursue excellence in all aspects of student life, including academics, community service, and campus involvement.

McLay serves as our current chapter President and former Treasurer, and Sheets serves as our current Alumni Chair and former Vice President. They are both involved in numerous other organizations on campus.

RUN NOW, WORRY LATER 5K 🏃‍♂️🎗️ Join Theta Chi, Alpha Tau Omega, Alpha Chi Omega, and Tri Delta on April 10th for a 5K benefiting St. Jude and supporting Grant Wells. Registration begins at 3:00 PM, and the race starts at 3:30 PM, with the start and finish at Theta Chi. After the race, join us for a cup sale from 5–9 PM at Moe’s Original Bar B Que. Drink deals, cups, and shirts will be available, and all proceeds will benefit St. Jude.

Congratulations to our Brother of the Month, Joe Calacci!

Joe is from Palos Heights, Illinois and is majoring in Business Management with a minor in Sales at the Culverhouse College of Business. This past fall, Joe served as our New Member Educator, successfully leading a class of 63 new members through the education process and initiation, playing a major role in strengthening our brotherhood.

Joe also excels academically, earning Dean’s List honors twice while balancing his leadership responsibilities within the chapter.

Outside of academics and chapter duties, Joe stays active as the starting catcher on our fraternity softball team and enjoys spending time around the water, supporting local animal shelters, and cheering on the Chicago Bears.

When he’s not busy with school or chapter responsibilities, Joe can usually be found enjoying a cold one and spending time with his brothers.

In celebration of our Centennial Year, the Alpha Phi Chapter of Theta Chi is proud to launch a Week of Service dedicated to showcasing what Greek life is truly about — using our platform and resources to make a meaningful impact.

Our Centennial Week of Service reflects our commitment to lending an Assisting Hand to our community and supporting fellow University programs. We invite you to join us at Theta Chi as we come together to serve, give back, and honor 100 years of brotherhood the right way.

Congratulations to our Brother of the Month, Ethan Snyder!

Ethan is a junior from Atlanta, Georgia majoring in MIS. He has served Theta Chi as both our former Rush Chair and current Secretary, playing a major role in the continued success of our chapter. As Rush Chair, Ethan helped lead a pledge class of 62 members that achieved the highest GPA our chapter has seen in the past 10 years.

Ethan also excels academically, earning Dean’s List honors three times while balancing his leadership responsibilities. His dedication, organization, and commitment to Theta Chi set a strong example for the brothers around him.

When Ethan isn’t handling chapter business or hitting the books, you can usually find him enjoying some downtime around the house and soaking up the sun on the balcony. Congratulations to our Brother of the Month!
