The School District of Turtle Lake consists of 115 square miles, all nestled in picturesque NW Wisconsin, located just 70 miles east of the Twin Cities and north of Eau Claire. Our facility is a modern one-building JK-12 campus that boasts an indoor swimming pool, 300-seat auditorium, full climbing wall and NEW state-of-the-art fitness center. We are implementing 1-to-1 technology throughout the entire building.

Tomorrow night, football season kicks off right here in Laker Nation! 🏈🐢

Before the game, stop by the Turtle Lake Music Boosters’ tailgate party to grab some great food! 😋 Located in front of the school building, we’ll be serving brats, hot dogs, and hamburgers with numerous side dishes from 5:00–6:30 PM before the big game! 🌭🍔

Plates are $6 each, and all funds raised from the Turtle Lake Music Boosters’ tailgates go toward our scholarship fund! 🤩

So come on out for a fun night here at Turtle Lake Schools while supporting a great cause! 💛🐢❤️

We kick off the 2026 Lakers football season this Thursday, August 20, right here in Laker Nation! 🤩 Turtle Lake will take on the Alma Center Lincoln Hornets at 7:00 PM. Let’s get out, fill the stands, and cheer on our team to a WIN! 🏆

📣 Attention, Lakers... Class of 2033 and Class of 2030‼️

Your student orientation at Turtle Lake School is coming up! On Monday, August 24, our incoming 6th- and 9th-grade students will get the chance to catch a glimpse of their future here at Turtle Lake Schools. 🤩

During these meetings, we will discuss student expectations and review the student handbook. There will also be a Q&A session with MS/HS Principal Mr. Hinze. We strongly recommend that all 6th- and 9th-grade students and their parents attend these meetings, which will be held in conjunction with Laker Welcome Day.

We are so excited to get our students set up for success this school year! 🎉

Ready, set, smile, Lakers! 😄📸

Picture Day at Turtle Lake School District for students in grades 4K–12 will be held on Monday, August 24, during Laker Welcome Day. Photographers from Cahill Photo Studio will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

All orders are now placed after Picture Day. Photo galleries will be available online 2–5 business days after Picture Day. Watch your email for a link to view and order photos!

Cahill Studios will send you a Picture Day reminder one week before Picture Day from the following email address: [email protected], so keep a lookout! You will also be able to view more than 100 FREE background options so you can best coordinate your child’s outfit!

Don’t like your first-day photos? Wait to purchase photos, and your child can have their picture taken on Retake Day, Wednesday, September 23.

Laker Welcome Day is just around the corner! 💛🐢❤️

We are so excited to kick off the 2026–2027 school year with our annual Laker Welcome Day! 👏🤩

Laker Welcome Day is Monday, August 24, with scheduled appointments between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Keep in mind that this is not a full day of school, but all students in grades 4K–12 are required to report at their scheduled appointment time. The first “regular” full day of school (and summer school, when buses will be running) will be Wednesday, August 26.

If you have not yet done so, please log in to Family Access to schedule your appointment today. Please plan for approximately one hour for middle school and high school appointment time slots. If you have questions about how to schedule your appointment, please contact the school at 715-986-4470.
