As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, PIE would like to say a big THANK YOU to every single person at Turtle Creek that helps to take care of our kiddos. Teachers, para-professionals, office/admin, security, food services, custodial staff-- you all work together to make our school amazing! For the past three years, Turtle Creek 5th graders have had the chance to attend Pittsburgh Pirates Education Day—a day filled with learning, excitement, and unforgettable memories at PNC Park.

For many of our students, this is their first time attending a major event like this.

Right now, we’ve raised $1,175, but we still need just $625 more—and we only have one month left.

This isn’t just a field trip.
It’s a hands-on STEAM experience…
a chance to learn beyond the classroom…
and a day for our students to simply be kids 💛

Our Scholastic Book Fair is bigger and better than ever and ready for shoppers on Monday! Students will shop during their regularly scheduled library class next week. Thanks to funds from the school district and generous donations from Erin's Wings Foundation along with other community members, every student will get to shop for one free book up to a $10 value! 💙🖤📚

Turtle Creek: It’s Scholastic Book Fair Time!
Our Spring Scholastic Book Fair will be held March 9-13. Help us run a successful book fair by volunteering your time! As a volunteer, you'll assist students in selecting books that fit within their budget, work the register, and ensure the event runs smoothly. This fair, Turtle Creek PIE is using Scholastic Dollars AND asking for community donations, so that every student gets to shop for a book, so ALL students will be shopping. That means we will need extra hands, especially for the younger grades. Your time and support make this possible—thank you for helping us inspire young readers!
