We had the pleasure of visiting this incredible alumni-owned business and connecting with Stan State alumni Christa Sciabica-Fitzgerald and Craig Hilliker. It was wonderful learning more about the Sciabica family’s remarkable legacy and their deep roots in our Central Valley community.
For 90 years, the Sciabica Family has been producing exceptional California olive oil in Modesto. Their story began with Nicola Sciabica, who brought his olive oil-making traditions from Sicily to California. In 1936, the family introduced Marsala® Brand Olive Oil, which today is recognized as the oldest continuously produced olive oil in the United States. Generations later, the family continues that tradition of quality, innovation and community. 🫒✨
