This morning we had our Reclassification ceremony for 49 of our English Learner students. This is a time to honor our EL students who have been reclassified as Fluent English Proficient by meeting the criteria set by the state of California and TUSD which includes getting a 4 on the ELPAC, a 2 or higher in the SBAC test, passing ELA, teacher recommendation and consulting with parents. This is a super huge accomplishment and we are incredibly proud of these Diamondbacks!

Dutcher kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month on Wednesday, September 16th! Students are encouraged to dress up in the spirit of cultural appreciation and join us for exciting lunchtime festivities featuring traditional Hispanic treats, refreshments, live performances, art, and music. Throughout the rest of the month, students will engage in inspiring campus activities aimed to teach, celebrate, and unify our community. We are so excited to celebrate with you!
How Parents Can Help: While we are grateful to our many generous sponsors, we are still looking for donations of Costco bags of tortilla chips. If you are able to contribute, please drop your donation off at the school office by Tuesday, September 15th. Thank you so much for your continued support!
