🍸 Emerald Whisper – A Modern Take on The Last Word

Hey Brewly Mixology Club!
Today we’re diving into a timeless classic — The Last Word, reborn in our own style as Emerald Whisper. This cocktail captures that perfect harmony between bright citrus, herbal depth, and a touch of sweetness — all glowing in that mesmerizing jade-green hue.

🍃 Ingredients

¾ oz Gin

¾ oz Green Chartreuse

¾ oz Maraschino Liqueur

¾ oz Fresh Lime Juice

(Equal parts for an equal balance — tangy, herbal, and just sweet enough.)

🧊 Method

Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until perfectly chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass.

🍒 Garnish

Skewer three maraschino cherries and rest them elegantly across the rim.
Their vivid red contrasts beautifully against the pale green drink — a simple yet striking presentation.

✨ Brewly Tips

Swap in Old Tom Gin if you prefer a rounder, slightly sweeter base.

For a more complex depth, try Chartreuse V.E.P.

To capture that perfect photo, let a soft sidelight hit the glass — the golden reflection beneath the emerald hue makes it shine like a gem. 💎

Emerald Whisper is proof that simplicity can be utterly sophisticated — just four ingredients, yet a symphony of flavor.
If you’ve tried your own twist on this classic, share your version with the club — what’s your last word? 😎

🥂✨ Brewly Mixology Club – Let’s Craft A Classic Together! ✨🥂

Tonight, let’s go back to the roots of cocktail culture with a timeless favorite: The Whiskey Sour.
Simple. Bold. Perfectly balanced.

🔹 Ingredients You’ll Need:

2 oz bourbon whiskey 🥃

3/4 oz fresh lemon juice 🍋

1/2 oz simple syrup 🍯

(Optional) 1 egg white for that silky smooth foam 🥚

🔹 Essential Tools:

Cocktail shaker (a must for that frothy texture!)

Jigger (for perfect measurement – balance is everything)

Strainer

Old-fashioned glass

Ice cubes ❄️

🔹 How To Brewly-Style Shake:

Add bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup (and egg white if you’re adventurous) into your shaker.

Dry shake first (without ice) if using egg white – it helps create that luxurious foam.

Add ice, shake hard for 15 seconds until the shaker frosts up.

Strain into an old-fashioned glass with fresh ice.

Garnish with a lemon wheel or a maraschino cherry 🍒.

👉 That’s it. A perfect balance of sweet, sour, and strong – the true spirit of cocktail artistry.

💬 Now it’s your turn, Brewly fam:
What’s YOUR twist on the classic Whiskey Sour? Do you keep it traditional, or do you add your own flair?

Let’s share, inspire, and raise our glasses together. 🍹🔥
