🍫 Sequencing never tasted so sweet! 🍫

Mrs. Begner and Mrs. Gillon’s students have been learning all about sequencing! Today, they put their skills to the test by writing step-by-step directions in their journals for how to make a s’more. ✏️📖

Of course, the best part was getting to follow those directions and eat their creations! 😋 No campfire required! 🔥🚫

We love seeing our Ripples turn learning into a fun (and delicious!) experience! 💙💛🌊

Today in Mr. Norris' Science class at Milam Elementary, students conducted a STEM activity to learn about chemical reactions using an acid (vinegar) and a base (baking soda) mixed with a little soap and food coloring. The reaction releases CO2 and causes the gloves to expand with the bubbles from the soap, eventually oozing out of the glove that has had holes pricked in the finger tips. The anticipation and curiosity grow as students watch the reaction slowly begin to "fizz" out of the tops of the gloves. This activity not only combines ingredients, but also mixes in fun with learning.

Our Boys’ Leadership group is proud to give back through their “Beds for Kids” Service Project! 💙💛

They are working to help children in our community sleep comfortably—and you can help make a difference!

We are collecting twin size bedding items (pillows, comforters, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, etc.) as well as unused stuffed animals.

📍 Donations can be turned in to Miss Bailey’s room in the annex
📅 Deadline: May 15

We are so proud of these young men for stepping up to serve others and lead with heart!
