Tobie's Hope

OUTCOME GOALS FOR FIVE SERVICE AREAS OF TOBIES HOPE:

Advocacy- Tobie’s Hope will aid families through parent training or providing trained advocates to work with schools to calculate IEPs so that a child makes adequate progress and to aid schools in locating the resources necessary to implement the accommodations, modifications, supports, and related services students need to make progress. Intervention- Tobie’s Hope will create individualized interventions that account for a child's educational, physical, occupational, and speech needs in order for that child to gain skills they currently do not have. Education- Tobie’s Hope will improve the outcome for families with special needs through education of the public concerning the rights of all children in Northeast Mississippi to have access to a quality curriculum in an environment that best supports their ability to learn from pre-school to transition to life. Training-Tobie’s Hope will seek to provide to people of willing hearts the standard of proficiency necessary through practice and instruction in advocacy, intervention, and education to help families with special needs find the resources necessary to meet the needs of their children, including public and private preschools and schools, churches, and any other organization or individual. Love-Tobie’s Hope will provide through Love all supports for any family with any need.
