Itawamba Community College Associate Degree Nursing

Let’s just say that we have the best students at ICC! We had 34 students from our Associate Degree Nursing program who graciously volunteered their time to help prepare for and clean up after the 5th annual Golden Halo Benefit! The money raised from this benefit helps support the citizens of Itawmaba Crossroads Ranch. Itawmaba Crossroads Ranch is a non-profit facility that allows adults with special needs to live and thrive by emphasizing their abilites rather than their disabilities! Thank you to all the students who worked hard and made dreams come true!

Alpha Delta Nu provisional members organized an educational booth and a Wear Red day to raise awareness of heart health!

“Don’t go breaking our hearts!” Help our Alpha Delta Nu Chapter spread awareness of heart health in honor of February being America Heart Month.

MOSA Soup Fundraiser and Career Day!

MOSA organized a soup sale with proceeds supporting the Wishes for Kisses Fundraiser in partnership with Mississippi Nurses Foundation to benefit Make-A-Wish Mississippi. Students also had the opportunity to meet with area employers and colleges to learn about opportunities after graduation! Thanks to our sponsors, those who supported the sale, and career day participants for making yesterday a success!

Critical thinking application day, but make it spooky! 👻 A costume contest and food trucks added a festive twist to the students’ day in the lab!

Students and faculty with the ICC Associate Degree Nursing program volunteered their time to glaze and pack pottery for the residents of Itawamba Crossroads Ranch! They also volunteered to work the Fall Festival held at Crossroads Ranch! Itawamba Crossroads Ranch is a nonprofit organization that offers high-functioning special needs adults the opportunity to live and work so that they can achieve their full potential. All the proceeds from the pottery sales support the residents of the Ranch! Thank you for serving our community!

A day in the life of our nursing students! Hands on learning in the skills labs and health promotion projects in progress!

Who says a Monday has to be hard?! Faculty cooked and served our students lunch after class! They even provided games for some added fun! 💙❤️

The Fall semester is in full swing! Freshmen students have started learning in the skills lab, and our sophomores are gearing up for clinicals to begin!

Last week we welcomed some of our incoming Freshmen for a “Bootcamp”! We can’t wait to have them back, and more, in just a few weeks when classes begin.

We are so proud!

The last clinical day of the semester has arrived for our freshmen students! We couldn’t be more proud of how they have grown over the last few months.
