Recently, I have had parents on two separate occasions tell me that their child used the word “safe” to describe how they felt about the creative moves dance program and our dance space.

This is a powerful word and I am going to tell you why!

1. Unlocking the boundless potential of a child's creative process requires more than just providing the tools and materials. It demands the creation of a nurturing and empowering environment where they can truly thrive.

StoryMovers is a creative movement class. It is process driven so that children are encouraged to unfurl their creative wings. Children learn basic dance terms and basic dance standards, reading standards that are appropriate for early childhood development, spatial awareness, group socialization, classroom structure.

1. To create a brave environment for children to explore movement and make their own choices.
2. To build a bridge between language/reading skills and movement and dance.
3. To support and encourage play and imagination
4. To develop soft skills like listening, working with others, and communication
5. To empower young movers to appreciate the art form of dance.

This camp is great for a child that is new to creative movement or a child that loves everything about dance! Remember boys dance too and creative movement is a great way to introduce the love of dance to your child.

Camp is $125 and for ages 3-6yr olds.
