Today our Montessori gardeners harvested fresh green beans straight from the school garden! With careful hands, curious minds, and a sense of purpose, the children explored where food comes from while practicing responsibility, patience, and respect for nature.

From planting seeds to gathering the harvest, every step offers meaningful lessons in independence and stewardship. The joy on their faces says it all—learning is truly alive when children can touch, grow, and experience it for themselves.

Do you love cooking wholesome meals and being part of a joyful, child-centered environment?

Montessori School of Tupelo is looking for a Kitchen Manager to prepare simple, nutritious meals for our students and support a calm, nurturing school day.

✨ Position Details:

* Monday–Friday
* 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
* Family-friendly hours (no nights or weekends!)

✨ Responsibilities:

* Prepare lunch and snacks for children ages 1-6
* Maintain a clean, organized kitchen
* Manage food inventory and basic ordering
* Follow health & safety guidelines

✨ We’re looking for someone who:

* Enjoys cooking from scratch
* Is reliable, organized, and calm under pressure
* Loves being around children and supporting a positive environment
