Tonight was our first go-round with Mosaic House Number Signs, and as with any brand-new project, there was definitely a little bit of a learning curve!

We figured out what worked (and what we’ll do differently next time!), and ended the night with some truly beautiful and completely unique pieces.

But what we appreciated most tonight was the group of people around our tables. Everyone was so kind, patient, encouraging, and willing to roll with the process as we worked through a new project together. That kind of atmosphere is exactly what we want our classes to feel like.

Thank you to everyone who spent their evening creating with us, laughing with us, and giving a brand-new class a chance. 💛

It was a galaxy themed field trip at the studio for these students today. Combing sensory, leadership, and planning all into one amazing experience. They designed their galaxy, created their ecosystem and then explained it all.

Today's field trip was all about the Galaxy! Each student took time this morning to design their galaxy with crayons first, then brought it to life with air clay. Each student shared their galaxy name, what lives in it, and how to get there.

To top it off, they finalized it all with some galaxy slime! Our goal today was to include art through planning, sensory play with slime/air clay, and leadership in explaining their new world.

For each field trip, we work with the school to match their current curriculum and ensure it's age-appropriate.

We truly enjoyed spending the entire summer with these students and wish them a happy new school year! See you next summer.
