WOW, WHAT A DAY!!!!!!!

Test day did not disappoint!!!

6 in the adult class and 14 in the kids class knocked it out today testing. Very impressive!!

Ages 7 to 53 put it all out there and did so very well! The group was represented including a husband and wife along with their daughter, 3 brothers and a cousin from one family, a brother and a sister from two families, and two sisters and a cousin from another family. So great!

It was a EXCELLENT turnout also today from family and friends, we appreciate you coming out to support those testing.

Special thanks to our judges panel, 3rd Degree Black Belt Amy Donnora, 1st Degree Black Belt Karen Danko, 1st Degree Black Belt Breanne Banta Shay, 1st Degree Black Belt Erin Shay, 3rd Degree Black Belt Dave Gunton, and 3rd Degree Black Belt Terry D Martin. YES TERRY MARTIN who showed up in uniform ready to judge!!!

Terry was determined to come and judge as her 3 Grandsons tested today. A great example of NO RETREAT IN BATTLE if there ever was one!

THANK YOU to all those that took the time to come and judge today!!

It was HOT!!!!

Good turnout despite the heat.

Multiple pad kicks, some boxing drills, and working with the staff (b**g).

Everyone looked great, really excellent work. Thanks for coming out in the heat!

Look at this AWESOME group for class last night!!

3 generations of training, 3 generations of Black Belts!!
The one in the middle who is 13 had major brain surgery less than a year ago!

We worked mostly on forms and leaning a new form. It was hot but they knocked it out!!

Great job from these awesome girls!

Reminder, no kids class tonight due to the heat. I will be there for the adult class for anyone that wants to come.

GREAT CLASSES TONIGHT!!

Kids class was great and moved out side for some drills in the sunshine tonight. The kids put forth a lot of energy and effort. Just the way we like it!!

Adult class, much sweat was shed!! Some kicking drills, five rounds of stackers and some sparring drills. Everyone looked great!! Great effort and technique from all ages and ranks!

Our newest students Josh Burgess, and kids Josh and Olivia, and Remy Hess in the kids class are really looking great. Thank you to all of you for the support and encouragement that you always show to new people. It’s appreciated and so great..

This is a special group that I’m so proud to be part of.

KIDS TEST WAS AWESOME!!!! FANTASTIC JOB BY ALL!

We did something a little different today in that the white belts actually tested for their yellow belts. This group has been doing so well that we decided to let them jump in also and they did not disappoint!

Our senior res belts along with the green belts were absolutely great as well. I couldn’t be more proud of this group!!!

A HUGE thanks also to our judging panel, demonstrator and helpers with the test as well.

Amy Donnora and Karen Danko who are kids class instructors were judges, along with Breanne Banta Shay, and Aubrey Stackhouse. Cool side not to this panel in that Karen is mom to Bre, and Grandmother to Aubrey so we had a 3 generation panel today!

10 year old Black Belt Erin Shay (also daughter to Bre and granddaughter to Karen) helped demonstrate and also took some great pics which are forth coming!

Dave Gunton helped as a holder, and Bre in addition to judging helped tie belts as I’m not able do that for a bit due to my shoulder brace.

Karen in addition to everything else, made some delicious brownies and pumpkin squares (my favorite, had 4) and Amy also was a photographer today.

THANK YOU to all that assisted, it is greatly appreciated.

Who says 13 is unlucky??

13 awesome kids tonight. It was so nice we took them outside for a little while for some jump kicks and relays on the grass!

Don’t forget, kids test on Saturday, regular class time!!! More on this to come.

13 in the adult class! In honor of wearing a new shoulder brace for 6 weeks, we worked on right hand attacks tonight. A variation of different strikes, punches, knife hand, palm heel, back fist and hammer fist. Worked these in with some combos also. Finished up with some forms and stretching. EVERYONE of all belt levels and ages looked AWESOME!!
