Help Support TCI Summer Camp!

As we prepare for another exciting summer of inclusive programming, we are asking for community support in providing snacks for our campers.

We are currently collecting individual packages of:
• Fruit Snacks
• Goldfish Crackers
• Applesauce Pouches

If you are making a trip to the grocery store this week, please consider picking up an extra box to donate. Snack donations can be sent with your participant to Summer Camp or dropped off at our Summer Camp Meet & Greet this weekend.

Your generosity helps ensure that all participants have access to snacks throughout the summer and supports our mission of providing meaningful opportunities for local youth with and without disabilities.

Thank you for supporting Thurston County Inclusion and helping make Summer Camp a positive experience for every participant.

Is your teen college-capable but not college-ready?

Collective Member Spotlight: Kimberly Marks, Executive Function Coach

One of the most important questions families ask is:

"My teen is smart enough for college, but are they ready for college?"

Executive function skills such as planning, time management, task initiation, organization, and self-advocacy often have a bigger impact on college success than academic ability alone.

Kimberly works with students and families to build these skills and support successful transitions into adulthood.

If you'd like to learn more about executive function coaching, connect with Kimberly directly.

We’re excited to share the evolution of Sound Space Collective.

What began as a small, values-driven network is growing into something more intentional, a collaborative space centered on education, connection, and neurodiversity-affirming support.

Sound Space Collective brings together families, adults, and professionals who are navigating and supporting neurodivergence, with a focus on shared learning, meaningful collaboration, and accessible resources.

We’re so glad you’re here and invite you to explore what we’re building.

✨ We have a new name.

Sound Youth Neurodiversity Collective is evolving into Sound Space Collective.

Over the past few years, this community has grown beyond what we originally imagined. What began as a way to connect neurodiversity-affirming providers has become something bigger, a space where families, professionals, and community members come together to learn, share resources, and support neurodivergent individuals.

Our mission hasn’t changed.

We still believe in:
• Neurodiversity-affirming care
• Collaboration across disciplines
• Supporting families navigating complex systems
• Creating access to thoughtful, evidence-informed resources

What has changed is our vision.

Sound Space Collective reflects the kind of space we want to create, one that centers reflection, learning, connection, and community for those supporting neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan.

You’ll start to see new things emerging here, including:
• Educational resources for families and providers
• Community collaborations
• Workshops and learning opportunities
• A growing directory of neurodiversity-affirming professionals

Thank you for being part of this community as it grows.
