As the new school year gets underway, Tumwater School District families are invited to the first Kids Closet Clothing Giveaway of the School Year!

📅 September 12th
🕛 Noon–3:00 p.m.
📍 Michael T. Simmons Elementary School

The gym will be filled with gently used clothing in all sizes for children, teens, and adults. This event is open to all Tumwater School District families who could use a little extra help with clothing for the school year.

No income verification is required, and there is no cost to participate. Please bring your own bags to carry home your selections.

We hope to see you there!

Does your child need a backpack & school supplies? 🎒🍎✏️

We know that getting ready for a new school year can be challenging - Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community at the recent Stuff the Bus event, along with support from The Little Red Schoolhouse, they have provided our school with backpacks filled with school supplies for students who could use a little extra help.

If your student could benefit from a backpack and school supplies, please reach out to the school counseling office! We want every student to start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn—and we are incredibly grateful to our community for helping make that possible!
