Hello Sequoia's Early Learning Center with Sequoia's Farm School Program,

Due to approximately 2-3 inch snowfall during the night and possible slick roads presently, Sequoia's Early Learning Center with Sequoia's Farm School Program will open at 10am this morning (Thursday, February 15th).

The roads currently may be slick and icy, especially for cars without 4-wheel drive and families and staff living in more rural areas but according to the weather and the news temperatures are expected to rise and roads to clear.

We understand that later starts or closing can cause inconvenience for families. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns, and stay warm!

3 HR Late Start, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, due to inclement weather - Sequoia’s Treehouse Children’s Center & Sequoia's ELC Families (Farm School Program and School-age After School Program)

Due to a layer of light ice and freezing temperatures overnight, Sequoia's Treehouse and Early Learning Center (Farm School Program) will have a 3 Hr Late Start this morning (Thursday, February 23). We will open at 10am.

The roads are currently slick and icy, especially for cars without 4-wheel drive and families and staff living in more rural areas but according to the weather and the news temperatures are expected to rise and roads to clear.

We understand that late starts or closing can cause inconvenience for families. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns, and stay warm!

Sequoia’s Treehouse Children’s Center & Sequoia's ELC Families (Farm School Program and School-age After School Program),

Due to road conditions not forecasted to improve soon and temperatures not to improve above 26 degrees, Sequoia's Treehouse and Early Learning Center which includes the Farm School Program and School-age After School Program, will all be closed today (Friday, January 12, 2023). Thurston County Public Schools are closed today and Olympia School District is on a 3 hour late start.

The roads are potentially slick and icy, especially for cars without 4-wheel drive and families and staff living in more rural areas. Also, with temperatures not expected to rise above 26 degrees, we have concerns over the extreme low temps.

We understand that closing can cause inconvenience for families, however we also need to take into consideration the safety of everyone. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns, and stay warm!

Now Enrolling!

Sequoia's Early Learning Center is accepting children 1- 5 years in two separate classrooms with small ratios. We are a nature Inspired, [email protected], [email protected] Play-based children’s center based on the philosophy of early learning that has emerged from the pioneering collective work of a group of schools in Reggio Emilia, Italy. We are shaped by an emergent curriculum and anti-bias practices while encouraging principles of respect, responsibility and community through exploration and discovery in a supportive and enriching environment. Our spaces invite curiosity, exploration, creativity and discovery. Skills are learned which build confidence, independence and helps children understand their role as a family and community member.

Our hours are from 7am-6pm, Monday through Friday.
