International Night 2018: Tales of Loves 01/29/2018

Congrats to Rizka Fikri Aprilia and Danish Zuhaidi who brought home the Third Best Performance award for ISATU! They performed a truly beautiful rendition of Laskar Pelangi, which was dedicated to su***de victims and everyone that we almost lost to su***de.

An outstanding performance by Indonesian Student Association is to raise awareness about su***de and the singers dedicated the Indonesian song, Laskar Pelangi (Troop of the Rainbow) to everyone who is fighting his or her battle, to reassure them that they are not alone.

So proud. Reeza has been a great friend of ISATU. Great to see our session in Kendall-Whittier Elementary School featured.

"Happy international women's day. This day only serves as a reminder, not the only day that we should cherish our beautiful and inspiring women all over the world. Women are not asking for a privilege, we are not better than men either. However, we are never less. Please take a moment to cherish all the women around you: your mothers, sisters, grandmothers, teachers, engineers, friends and lovers. Hope we continue doing this every day, not just today" -Linh Phan, AIS Event Coordinator

'Heterosexuality is not normal, it's just common'" -Sophia Meneely, AIS Director of Communications
