Exciting News! We have a new class with a new AMAZING teacher -Ruth Hesse! We've been big fans of Ruth's ceramic work and we are so pleased that she's going to share her knowledge at the Bead to make jewelry components - earrings, pendants, beads, broaches, etc.
“Exploring Ceramics for Jewelry” will be held on three consecutive Wednesdays Aug. 12, 19, 26
1-4 pm or 6-9 pm
Afternoon or Evening Option!

Learn practical techniques to refine your ceramic jewelry. The workshop focuses on thoughtful design and making lightweight, individualized components.
Over three 3-hour sessions, students learn surface design methods that apply to both ceramics and general jewelry making:

* Working with commercial underglaze transfers
* Making your own custom underglaze transfers
* Line work using sgraffito and Mishima
* Wax resist techniques
Cost is $135 per person supplies included. Each student receives approximately 3 pounds of clay—enough material to create a large volume of custom pieces.

We have space in Ty Patrick’s intro class 3 nights this week starting tomorrow, Tuesday July 21, Wednesday, July 22, and Thursday July 23, from 5:30-9:30pm. All supplies included!
