Happy Mother’s Day to the wonderful mothers of Asbury Classical School! 🌷

Today we were honored to host our annual Mother’s Day Tea, celebrating the women who so faithfully nurture, teach, and guide their children in truth, goodness, and beauty.

We were especially grateful for the encouragement shared by Lisa Bayless, who reflected on raising four children in classical Christian education and encouraged our mothers in the high calling of faithful motherhood.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28

Happy Eastertide! This is the 50 day season spanning from Easter Sunday to the birth of the Church on Pentecost Sunday.

Today students, parents, and grandparents feasted with treats and celebrated by painting eggs, making Easter crafts, and reading good books.

While Lent was a season of fasting and reflection, Eastertide is a season of joy, feasting, and living in the light of Christ’s victory over sin and death. Alleluia! 🌿

Holy Week at ACS is a quiet, reflective time. Each morning we gather for worship and read through the events of Jesus’ final week, setting aside parties and egg hunts until after Easter—because celebration follows resurrection.

We concluded on Thursday by inviting students and parents to walk through the Stations of the Cross together. Students held the thirty pieces of silver, touched the crown of thorns, nailed their sins to the cross, and tasted the vinegar—a tangible way to reflect on Christ’s suffering and the cost of our redemption. ✝️

Easter is not just a day, but a 50-day season of rejoicing leading to Pentecost!

⚽️☀️We believe children should be outdoors as much as possible—running, playing, and growing strong in both body and character.

Our students spent time on the field practicing soccer skills, encouraging one another, and enjoying the gift of a beautiful day together. At Asbury Classical School, learning doesn’t only happen at a desk. 🌿⚽️

Ending the week the way it should be — with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders reading aloud to their kindergarten buddies. 📚✨

Older students growing in confidence and leadership. Younger students listening wide-eyed, learning to love good stories.

This is the beauty of a classical school — students formed not only by books, but by one another. ❤️

🪲🔬 Bug day at school! We loved welcoming the OSU Insect Adventure from Oklahoma State University to campus today!

Our students got an up-close look at God’s incredible creativity in the world of insects—learning fascinating facts, asking great questions, and even holding 🕷️ tarantulas and 🦂 scorpions! (Yes, real ones!)

From tiny crawlers to amazing arachnids, it was a hands-on day full of curiosity, courage, and wonder. 🐜✨

Experiences like this make science come alive! 🙌

Kindergarten took a field trip to the aquarium today 🐠

The students loved seeing the fish, turtles, and sea life up close. A great day of learning outside the classroom.
