Ellen Ochoa Elementary is a diverse community, unified to empower students to become leaders and reach their fullest potential. The staff at Ochoa pledges to work hard to provide each student and our community of learners with the essential skills needed for academic growth, lifelong learning and personal character. Ochoa is one of 13 elementary schools in the Union Public Schools district. Union Public Schools is a suburban school district – the eighth largest in Oklahoma – serving over 15,000 students, grades pre-K through 12, in southeast Tulsa and part of Broken Arrow. The district’s 19 schools are nationally recognized in four strategic areas: Early Childhood Education, Community Schools, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), and College/Career Readiness.
