Be still my heart. Our TPS Parent Resource Center recently held an ABCs of Black History Living Museum event for families. Cherish, a 5th grader at Hawthorne Elementary, did her presentation on me! Having grown up in North Tulsa myself, and as a product of Tulsa Public Schools, this is such a touching full circle moment for me. I continue to be amazed and humbled by the young people that we serve. Thank you, Cherish, for your love and support!

We are incredibly grateful for our school counselor, Mrs. Brent! She is a constant source of support, encouragement, and care for our students, staff, and families. From helping students navigate big emotions to celebrating their successes, Ms. Brent shows up every single day with patience, compassion, and a heart for kids.

Her dedication to student well-being and academic success does not go unnoticed. Our school is a better place because of her calm presence, listening ear, and unwavering commitment to helping every child thrive.
